Title:  Brand Manager - CHC

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Brand Manager to lead one or more of our CHC categories across the MENA region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Consumer Health products, with expertise in both direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategies & OTC/ RX marketing.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand performance and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that focus on driving consumer engagement and loyalty across the MENA region.
    • Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, competitive landscape, and trends relevant to the OTC and Consumer Health (CH) sectors.
  2. Direct-to-Consumer Marketing:
    • Lead all DTC activities, including digital marketing, social media campaigns, and e-commerce initiatives, to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
    • Create and manage engaging content across various digital platforms to connect with consumers effectively.
  3. Product Management:
    • Oversee the lifecycle of OTC products, including product development, pricing, and promotional strategies tailored for the consumer & HCP market.
    • Collaborate with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure product compliance and alignment with regional standards.
  4. Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
    • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that encompass both online and offline channels, focusing on driving brand awareness and consumer engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
  5. Sales Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective trade marketing strategies that support brand objectives and enhance in-store visibility.
    • Provide training and support to sales teams on brand messaging, product benefits, and consumer engagement strategies.

 

  1. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage brand budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for DTC and traditional marketing efforts to maximize ROI.
    • Track and report on brand performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve financial targets.
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of brand initiatives.
    • Foster a collaborative environment to leverage insights and expertise from different departments.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals, to enhance brand visibility and support market growth.
    • Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences is required, with additional qualifications in marketing or business administration considered a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, with a focus on FMCH and direct-to-consumer strategies, preferably within the OTC or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of the MENA market and consumer behavior trends, particularly in digital engagement.
  • Proven track record of successful brand strategy development and execution, with an emphasis on DTC marketing.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
