Title:  HR Operations Trainee - Salary and Payroll

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Trainee to assist in the management and accuracy of salary processing, including verifying and reviewing employee payroll data. This role plays a vital part in maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time. You will collaborate closely with the HR team, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salary Processing & Verification: Review and verify employee salary data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies, employment contracts, and relevant guidelines.
  • Payroll Coordination: Assist with payroll software/tools to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee wages, bonuses, deductions, and other compensation-related matters.
  • Data Management: Regularly check and update employee salary records, including changes in compensation, bonuses, benefits, and deductions.
  • Compliance Checks: Ensure payroll processing is compliant with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve salary discrepancies by working closely with employees and relevant departments to address concerns.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Assist in preparing and submitting payroll reports, salary data, and other relevant documentation as required by management or for compliance purposes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the HR, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate data sharing and smooth operations.
  • Employee Communication: Respond to employee inquiries regarding their salary, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, or finance-related functions.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Fluency in French is a must
