Title:  Manager, Pipeline Selection

Having the ability to direct the evaluation of potential new molecules, provide recommendation, research viability and risks, monitor new molecule/company progress and development to safeguard the right products selection for Hikma’s pipeline and ensure Hikma is well positioned against competition through proper continued pipeline evaluation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for MENA Injectable Pipeline Selection (identification, evaluation and recommendation) according to department strategy ensuring the right products are selected for Research & Development or BD through proper review and approval by Marketing director and MENA VP- Injectables
• Oversees comprehensive product evaluations to make product recommendations based on financials, aggregate risk and technologies
• Maintains and constantly updates a pipeline selection master list of products to review and recommend for future long-term planning, Monitors the overall state of the pipeline
• Leads the Hikma Product Selection meeting to ensure thorough preparation of each product’s selection business case and stakeholder participation
• Monitors and applies industry trends and intelligence to portfolio selection to ensure robust and successful product pipeline
• Collaborates with Business Development to identify potential new products and technologies

Qualifications:

• BA Degree in healthcare & life sciences
• Portfolio management experience (preferably)
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical industry and at least 3 years in a relevant role
• Prior experience with Injectable products required
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, proficient with other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, e.g.: IQVIA
• Knowledge of Portfolio Selection methodologies (Preferably)
