Role Summary:

The R\&D Logistics Officer supports the R\&D pipeline by managing purchasing processes (via SAP), overseeing warehouse and storage operations, and maintaining accurate inventory and asset records. This role ensures timely procurement, proper storage, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and purchase requests through SAP for required departmental items.
  • Track purchased items, ensure proper receipt, and maintain all related documentation and tracking sheets.
  • Manage R\&D warehouse operations, including cleanliness, material storage, inventory control, arrangement, monitoring expiry dates, and consumption tracking.
  • Conduct R\&D asset counting, labeling, and participate in year-end inventory audits.
  • Manage R\&D stationery stocks and supplies.
  • Oversee other R\&D storage areas, ensuring proper arrangement, storage, and item flow.
  • Maintain and update the PR tracking system.
  • Develop and implement improvements to the R\&D inventory system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments such as the main warehouse and supply chain to ensure workflow progression and compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Be available for extended hours and occasional weekend work as required.
  • Perform data entry and maintenance in SAP or equivalent systems.

 

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

 

Experience:

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical effort.

 

Language:

  • Very good English (written and spoken).

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Quick learner with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Active listening and strong motivation.
