2. JOB PURPOSE

The candidate should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and the Power Platform and be able to solve complex issues, automate workflows to improve business productivity, and create a positive experience for Claims users.

 

 

 

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Hands on experience delivering solutions using:
    • SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 development
    • SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Site Designs & Scripts;
    • Microsoft Azure Function and Storage
    • Microsoft Azure Logic Apps and Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow)
  • Hands-on experience with the following technologies:
    • TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6 onwards)
    • Microsoft Fluent UI, Microsoft Office Fabric UI. CSS3, HTML5
    • C#, ASP.NET, MVC
    • Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, MS Forms
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and related Office 365 apps (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.) and enterprise setting.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar. 
  • Preferred:   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar. 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum:    2 Years
  • Preferred:    5 years  

SKILLS

  • NET CSOM and JSOM
  • Using CSOM in PowerShell
  • The REST API
  • The App Model
  • OfficeDev
  • Office 365
  • Key building blocks for out-of-the-box solutions
  • Search-based solutions - Content Search web part, search APIs etc.
  • Managed Properties/Crawled Properties - provisioning (including differences in SharePoint Online), auto-created properties, using in search refiners etc.
  • Display templates - provisioning templates, the end-to-end process of having values from a custom column displayed in a display template (via a custom Managed Property)
  • JSLink
  • Considerations around use of custom master pages, web templates etc.
  • Branding options – Office 365 theming, alternate CSS, custom master pages etc.
