We are looking for a talented Specialist, IT PMO to join us. Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio & Governance Support
- Support the PMO Manager in portfolio planning, prioritization, and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Monitor compliance with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Maintain and continuously enhance PMO processes, templates, and tools.
2. Project Oversight & Delivery Assurance
- Track project performance using KPIs such as scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
- Conduct periodic project health checks and governance audits.
- Identify risks and issues proactively and escalate with mitigation recommendations.
3. Reporting & Executive Insights
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and executive-level reports.
- Consolidate project updates into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Prepare reports and presentations for steering committees and executive meetings.
4. Resource & Capacity Management
- Support resource planning and allocation across projects and programs.
- Monitor resource utilization and highlight over- or under-allocation risks.
- Collaborate with functional managers to ensure optimal workforce capacity.
5. Financial Tracking & Benefits Realization
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
- Ensure financial governance, accuracy, and cost control discipline.
- Track and report benefits realization against approved business cases.
6. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Maintain centralized portfolio-level risk and issue registers.
- Identify and manage inter-project dependencies.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical risks and issues.
7. Tools, Systems & Data Management
- Administer and optimize PMO tools (e.g., MS Project Online, Power BI).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Promote adoption of PMO tools and best practices through training and support.
8. Continuous Improvement & PMO Maturity
- Identify opportunities to improve PMO efficiency and maturity.
- Benchmark against industry best practices and implement enhancements.
- Support audits, assessments, and maturity evaluations.
9. Mentoring & Capability Building
- Mentor and guide junior Project Managers and PMO team members.
- Support training initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs.
- Contribute to fostering a high-performance and collaborative PMO culture.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in PMO, project/program management, or portfolio management.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-PgMP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Experience with PMO tools such as MS Project Online, Power BI, or similar platforms.
