Key Responsibilities:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately processing payroll, reviewing payroll calculations, and ensuring full compliance with Social Security, tax regulations, and labor laws. The role requires strong attention to detail, solid payroll knowledge, and the ability to handle confidential information
- Review and verify payroll data to ensure accuracy of salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and benefits.
- Process monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure compliance with Social Security regulations, including registration, contributions, reporting, and follow-ups.
- Prepare and review tax calculations and ensure compliance with income tax laws and statutory deductions.
- Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the People Team on employee data changes (new hires, terminations, salary changes, unpaid leave, etc.).
- Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and external authorities as required.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and external entities.
- Support audits related to payroll, Social Security, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong background in payroll checking, Social Security systems, and tax regulations.
- Experience working with payroll software and People systems.
- Solid knowledge of local labor laws and statutory requirements.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems
