Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate monthly demand and supply forecasts for assigned products across the MENA region, ensuring timely sharing of forecast updates with suppliers and licensors.
  • Prepare and communicate annual supply forecasts by analyzing sales forecasts, inventory requirements, safety stock levels, growth assumptions, business plans, and market opportunities in alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary planning liaison with suppliers and licensors, coordinating regular communications, troubleshooting and resolving operational and supply-related issues, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, escalating risks when required, and ensuring alignment on supply plans and business objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate periodic S&OP meetings with suppliers/licensors to review year-to-date performance, year-to-go forecasts, supply plans, growth opportunities, risks, special projects, and required escalation topics.
  • Monitor monthly actual sales performance against licensor budgets and forecasts, identify significant variances, escalate deviations to management through the monthly S&OP cycle, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with MENA Commercial teams, PMOs, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supply chain and operational readiness for new product launches, supporting successful market introduction in line with launch timelines and business objectives.
  • Maintain meeting action trackers and ensure timely follow-up with both internal and external stakeholders to drive accountability and closure of agreed actions.
  • Analyze supply planning performance, inventory trends, and forecast accuracy, providing recommendations to optimize product availability, inventory levels, and overall supply chain effectiveness across the MENA region.

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical industry and at least 2 years in a relevant role.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, proficient with other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to adapt where needed, ability to keep focus and resilience.
  • Able to anticipate challenges, establish mitigation plans, and navigate through successful execution.
  • Strong business knowledge, sorting through priorities and interests of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management and execution of plans across a broad group of stakeholders/functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Strong sense of urgency and bias for action.
  • Knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical marketplace includes a high-level understanding of the development, regulatory, patent, and cross-licensing issues.
  • Problem solving and analytical translation by quickly sifting through details from a wide variety of sources and developing insights, implications, and actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated but also in a highly distributed cross-functional team.
  • English proficiency, strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written.
