We are looking for a talented Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable to join us. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
- Ensure proper matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices (3-way match).
- Ensure cost allocation, accounting, and tax are updated as per the relevant guidelines/ laws.
- Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments (e.g., procurement, warehouses, receiving departments).
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate Accounts payable aging reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- Reviews accounting policies and procedures and, as needed, recommends process improvements (including automation and operational efficiencies).
- Assist in completing ad hoc requests and special projects as they arise.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:
- Between 3~5 years’ experience in accounting or other relevant practice experience.
- Exposure to processing global invoices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exposure to SAP ERP system and workflow solutions.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Preferred: CMA
Skills:
- Fluent/Excellent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and an effective cross functional communicator.
- Ability to contribute ideas to address business issues.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and PowerPoint, especially the integration with other MS products.
- Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative, guide, and influence others toward goal achievement.
- Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.
- Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information.
- Working knowledge of internal control concepts.
- Process oriented, data driven, and exceptionally well organized and detail oriented.
