Role Summary:

The Sr. Associate Scientist, Instrument Qualification Chemist supports Analytical research department (Oral-solid & Oncology) by doing the required maintenance, scheduled preventive maintenance activity for analytical chromatographic system and the required frequent calibration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. More Than 3 years’ experience in Chromatography system maintenance, preventive maintenance and advanced troubleshooting for analytical equipment preferably in HPLC /UHPLC systems.
  2. Qualified to perform scheduled preventive maintenance, sudden breakdown repairs, performance verification, and calibration in strict accordance with GMP, GLP, and manufacturer standards.
  3. a strong analytical background as a former laboratory analyst to provide a unique dual perspective on instrument performance, ensuring both technical reliability and user-centric functionality.
  4. Perform and follow up the calibration activities for instruments (UHPLC with different detectors and Dissolution systems, analytical balances…etc.) according to, cGMPs and established regulatory requirements to comply with regulations.
  5. Prepare equipment for qualification studies and execute qualification and validation studies according to approved protocols and SOPs.
  6. Coordinate with Validation Department to prepare and approve the risk assessment, change control, and qualification files.
  7. Performing all tasks related to any instrument or software failure and ensuring that corrective action is done.
  8. Adhere to all safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  9. Be available for extended hours and occasional weekend work as required.

  Qualifications:

   We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the                  qualifications outlined below:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
  2. Maintenance certified for analytical chromatography system HPLC/UHPLC with not less than 3 years, with background of analytical laboratory analyst.

 

Able to work in maintenance and operational environments and perform tasks that require physical strength and endurance.

 

Experience:

  • +3 years of relevant experience.

 

Education:

  •    Bachelor’s degree in chemistry

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of analytical chromatographic systems operating software classification and 21CFRpart 11.

 

Language:

  • Very good English (written and spoken).

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Quick learner with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Active listening and strong motivation.
