We are looking for a talented Sr. Engineer, IT Network Services - Firewalls to join us. Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with working on
- Cisco Nexus core switches
- Cisco Edge switches
- Cisco Routers.
- Cisco Internet and Datacenter Firewalls (FMCs, FTDs. ASAs)
- Cisco ISE
- Cisco WLC
- Plays a prominent role in implementing the network security rules and mitigating network attacks
- Take responsibility for firewall troubleshooting and maintenance
- Must ensure the maintenance of clustered firewall environments for sites using Cisco FMC
- Should have proper knowledge about IPS Software blades and others. It is their responsibility to create Log analysis and correlation of monthly reports
- Must develop signatures and traps to evaluate the traffic pattern
- Should be well-versed with Cisco Firewalls models, capabilities, and architectures
- Provides technical assistance required for VPN client infrastructure
- Should track device inventory and offer support for the clients
- The primary responsibility of the specialists is to configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure, working with Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC
- Develop innovative initiatives to improve the quality and effectiveness of the services
- Play an active role in identifying the cause of any IT service incident and effectively resolve any issues
- Diagnoses and rectify any problems with the network and firewalls and associated peripherals
- Should maintain our firewalls and stay updated on any Cisco security vulnerabilities and how they affect our network
- It is essential to have an appropriate understanding of the Cisco firewalls including multiple contexts and HA
- Perform an audit on Planned Schedule Backup for Network Devices
- Review Network Performance reports including Monitoring Data, MPLS and Internet Leased Lines per a Scheduled Checklist (KPIs)
- Evaluating and providing recommendations regarding network systems and software
- Writing IT SOPs, Policies, Change Control Forms, and Vendor Comparison Matrix.
- Manage Projects; create Project Charters, RFPs, RFP Tracking, Proposals, and Project Closure.
- Follow up on Network Passive
- Following up on IT best practices, policies, and SOP
- Maintain High Availability for Hikma global sites over the cloud (DmVPN)
- Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Follow up on routine network device maintenance and determine when and what maintenance is needed
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:
- B.Sc. Degree in Computer Related Majors
- CCNA/CCNP Security is a must
- Cisco Firewall Security Specialist, CCIE Security preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years of network administration and Firewalls support in fast-paced environment
Skills
- Provide operational support for a multi-countries network.
- Plan, design, implement, manage and maintain Network, Support and Projects.
- Maintaining all network documentation to reflect the state of our network.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Team player.
