The Sr. Manager, IT Global Network is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s global network infrastructure. This role ensures the delivery of a secure, scalable, and high-performing network that support business operations across all regions. The position plays a strategic role in evaluating emerging technologies, establishing best practices, and aligning network initiatives with business and operational goals. Additionally, the Sr. Manager leads a team of network professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation to ensure operational efficiency and resilience.

- Lead a team of network engineers and architects who oversee (directly and indirectly) Hikma’s network design and operations around the world
- Foster a high-performing network team by setting clear goals, providing mentorship, conducting regular performance reviews, and promoting continuous learning and development.
- Ensure Hikma’s global network meets business and regulatory requirements for design, operations, availability and security
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new network products and services, ensuring alignment with good industry practices and organizational goals.
- Oversee active network projects, including planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, personnel training, hardware/software acquisition, and effective team leadership to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Ensure the maintenance and annual review of documentation for LAN, WAN, VoIP, and WLAN architectures, ensuring alignment with current standards and best practices.
- Champion life cycle management by ensuring all network infrastructure remains secure and up to date through approved software and hardware updates, including leading testing and validation efforts.
- Collaborate closely with regional operations teams to ensure proactive network monitoring, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement of network performance and reliability.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of best practice architecture and design principles, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate network installation, maintenance, and operations, ensuring adherence to global standards and operational excellence.
- Engage stakeholders, including manufacturing engineering teams, to shape long-term IT and network strategies, incorporating relevant technologies and aligning with business objectives.
- Ensure network management best practices, including change management, incident response, capacity planning, and documentation standards.
- Participate in the overall IT annual budgeting process, including accountability for specific budget areas
