Title:  Sr. Officer, Supply Planning - MENA

Job Purpose: 

 Initiate, execute, and control overall supply planning process for MENA HSP In-house products through creating efficient supply plans and forecasts synchronized with demand and sales targets, business needs, optimal inventory targets, agreements obligations, ensuring supply consistency to markets timely with optimal cost. Collaborate with many stakeholders in a matrix environment to achieve business targets.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

·       Create, analyse, execute, and track monthly consolidated supply forecast for MENA HSP In-house products considering updated demand and sales figures along with Hikma local sites input, inventory levels and value, orders priorities, and agreements obligations.

·       Measure and report deviations in demand versus budget and previous cycle, arrange with stakeholders on action plan to ensure supply consistency and partners alignment on targets.

·       Arrange for regular internal meetings with MENA demand planning and local sites supply teams to discuss and ensure plans execution is on track, align on packaging priorities, brainstorm and solve operations, quality, regulatory and financial related issues impacting supply plans execution.

·       Arrange for regular meetings with In-house supply team to track delivery plan versus forecast, discuss supply issues and provide updated plans and creative solutions.

·       Report and escalate deviation and delays in any delivery plans to direct manager, arrange with internal stakeholders for alternative plans to mitigate impact on commercialization.

·       Liaise with Regulatory Affairs team regularly on variations impacting supply and commercialization, building alternative and mitigation plans including bridging stock as deemed necessary, align with demand and alliance team on commercial plans execution.

·       Collaborate with Hikma local sites and MENA Supply Chain Head on the annual inventory targets, track supply forecast versus inventory targets on quarterly basis and grant exceptions as deemed necessary.

Qualifications: 

·       Minimum: BA Degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.

·       Preferred: APICS Certifications or MBA is a plus

Experience:

·       Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical industry in a relevant role.

·       Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, proficient with other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint. 

·       Preferred: 

·       SAP ERP System Experience.

·       Able to anticipate challenges, establish mitigation plans, and navigate through successful execution.

·       Strong sense of urgency and bias for action.

·       Problem solving and analytical translation by quickly sifting through details from a wide variety of sources and developing insights, implications, and actionable recommendations.

·       Ability to work independently, self-motivated but also in a highly distributed cross-functional team.

·       English proficiency, strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
