Key Responsibilities:

Awareness Activities — Training & Communication

• Deliver and coordinate training sessions on the Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) policy, and other Group compliance policies and guidelines for employees, third parties, and other relevant stakeholders across the region.
• Develop and maintain training materials and awareness content (presentations, e-learning modules, communications) tailored to regional needs and local regulatory context.
• Track training completion rates, maintain accurate records, and follow up with functions/territories on outstanding training requirements.
• Support the roll-out of new or updated policies, ensuring employees understand practical implications for their day-to-day work.

Act as a point of contact for compliance queries raised by employees and the sales/commercial teams within the region.

- Assurance Activities

- Auditing & Monitoring

• Conduct periodic audits and monitoring reviews of sales expenses, promotional activities, and other commercial/field-force activities to verify compliance with Group policies (e.g. HCP interactions, meals, gifts, sponsorships, and event-related spend).
• Identify, document, and report control gaps, policy breaches, or red flags arising from monitoring activities, and track remediation to closure.
• Support the design and continuous improvement of monitoring plans, checklists, and risk indicators for sales and marketing activities.
• Prepare periodic assurance reports and dashboards for the Regional Compliance Officer and relevant stakeholders, summarizing monitoring outcomes, trends, and areas of concern.
• Assist in ad hoc reviews or preliminary assessments arising from Speak Up reports, internal audit findings, or management requests.

Third-Party Risk Management

• Conduct risk-based due diligence on third parties (e.g. distributors, agents, consultants, HCPs/HCOs, vendors) engaged by the region, in line with the Group's Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) procedure.
• Assess due diligence findings, identify red flags (e.g. sanctions, adverse media, conflicts of interest, beneficial ownership concerns), and escalate high-risk cases for further review or senior approval.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date third-party risk records, ensuring renewals and periodic re-screening are completed within required timelines.
• Support contracting teams and business stakeholders in understanding due diligence outcomes and any conditions or mitigations required prior to onboarding or renewal.
• Monitor ongoing third-party compliance obligations (e.g. certifications, compliance attestations) as applicable.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work closely with the regional Compliance team and Heads of Territory/Compliance Officers to ensure consistent implementation of the Compliance Program across markets.
• Keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments (anti-bribery, healthcare compliance and industry codes) affecting the region, and flag implications to the Regional Compliance Officer.
• Support the Regional Compliance Officer in preparing materials for internal governance forums, Compliance Committee updates, and Group reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, trackers, and audit trails to support inspection and audit readiness at all times.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; a professional compliance certification (e.g. ICA, CCEP) is an advantage.

2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related control function, ideally within a multinational or pharmaceutical/life sciences environment.

3. Working knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption frameworks (e.g. FCPA, UK Bribery Act), and third-party due diligence practices.

4. Experience conducting audits, monitoring reviews, or investigations, with the ability to identify risk and document findings clearly.

5. Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken); additional regional languages are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with compliance-related systems and processes is an advantage.
• Regional experience (GCC and Levant) is a plus.
