Title:  Total Reward Supervisor/Manager MENA

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the Human Resources needs by acting as a liaison to Corporate HR to

ensure proper management in line with corporate guidelines while providing day-to-day

oversight and direction for system maintenance, data integrity, ongoing system testing,

improvements, security compliance, business intelligence reporting, and module planning

configuration/implementation.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Participates in the development of the departmental strategy in line with the functional

strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing

departmental strategies across the Compensation & Benefits department.

 

  • Ensures that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and

implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of Hikma. Policies, Processes &

Procedures

 

  • Participates in the development and recommends improvement on the Compensation &

Benefits department policies, and procedures, and manages the implementation to ensure all

relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled. Budget

 

  • Oversees the consolidation and recommends the Compensation & Benefits department

budget and monitors financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of

anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential

areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

Projects.

 

  • Leads and guides project management teams in the planning, organizing, management and

control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed meeting agreed

project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives.

Job Specific Accountabilities

 

  • Maintains proper application and implementation of Hikma Corporate HR guidelines, rules, and regulations in order to ensure they are in accordance with the local labor legislation.

 

  • Applies proper compensation and benefits policies in accordance with the local labor market requirements while consulting with local managers on how to best ensure long term retention of vital talent; managing and coordinating the performance management process in order to ensure business needs are met.

 

  • Acts as the owner and key user for all HR systems’ operations and proactively looks for ways to improve reporting, efficiencies, feeds, and usage of various systems in order to ensure processes remain up to date.

 

  • Develops and manages a strategy/approach for supporting end-users and core users on the system in case of any day-to-day issues or inquiries in order to ensure timely support service delivery within preset SLAs.

 

  • Leads the delivery and development of HR services (trainings, manpower planning, recruitment, updating policies, etc.) in order to ensure all concerned parties are able to utilize these services.

 

  • Counsels line managers on how to handle personnel problems in order to improve overall business performance and maintain a positive work environment.

 

  • Manages the effective achievement of departmental objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate’s performance.

 

  • Resolves HR related issues escalated from team in order to ensure prompt resolution and minimize disruptions to the workflow. People Management.

 

  • Manages the effective achievement of the Compensation & Benefits departmental objectives through setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize subordinate performance. Continuous Improvement.

 

  • Stimulates subordinates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

 

 

  • Manages the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards. Safety, Quality & Environment.

 

  • Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the section in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude Related Assignments.

 

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related with preferably an MBA or

equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized business school.

 

• Minimum Experience: 6-8 years relevant experience in Business Administration

Management including at least 3 years in positions of progressively increasing

managerial responsibilities.
