Job Title: Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Manufacturing Operator Trainee

Location: Hikma Chemicals

Duration: 1 Year Training Program

Objective: To provide the trainee with comprehensive hands-on experience in API manufacturing, while simultaneously enhancing the company's workforce by developing a skilled standby operator. The goal is to ensure seamless operations during absences of regular operators and evaluate the trainee's potential for employment based on their performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate Manufacturing Equipment: Assist in operating production line machinery under close and direct supervision while ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  2. Quality and Safety Compliance: Interpret and implement company policies, and comply with safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures.
  3. Documentation: Enter data on manufacturing orders, packaging standards, and logbooks for accurate records.
  4. Production Support: Coordinate with various departments for raw materials, finished products, maintenance, and quality checks.
  5. Cleanliness and Preparation: Perform cleaning activities (lines and machines) and ensure line and safety clearance prior to production start.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Recommend maintenance activities and support continuous improvement projects.
  7. On-the-Job Training: Receive training from higher levels to ensure adherence to guidelines and SOPs.
  8. Daily Reporting: Submit daily production reports to the supervisor.

 

Requirements:

  1. Educational Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Skills: Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
