Title:  Engineer, Production - As-Salt

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

 

Day- to-day operations

  • Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

 

Job Specific Accountabilities:

  • Carries out a range of activities under guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information, specifications of the methods, process steps, and the plant machinery/equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or material processes and process systems.
  • Interprets data and identifies answers to navigate a wide of variety of processes, procedures and precedents.
  • Produces accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standardized sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Provides engineering solutions by managing projects and recommending techniques to enhance equipment/system/process robustness and maximize efficiency while improve quality performance.
  • Resolves equipment troubleshooting and repair issues in order to minimize operation downtime.
  • Coordinates with material/equipment vendors for activities such as designing packaging components and other related manufacturing activities to bring value that leverages Hikma manufacturing process. Provides technical engineering expertise to assist facilities and engineering staff.
  • Assists the quality department with investigations related to process manufacturing in order to 2 Confidential achieve results that align with procedures and regulations.
  • Supports the development of the preventative maintenance program for manufacturing equipment per industry standards and equipment manufactures’ recommendations to increase equipment reliability. Coordinates maintenance shutdowns with facilities to ensure the availability of resources for timely completion to maximize operational capability.
  • Develops and delivers ongoing training to staff to stay up to-date on utilities, equipment, and hazards.
  • Leads and facilitates the technical equipment process, including identifying opportunities, suggesting possible resolutions in a collaborative environment (technicians, senior technicians, performance centres) in order to drive long term improvements in the areas of capacity and efficiency and downtime reduction.

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

 

Reporting

Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Manufacturing to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.

 

Safety, Quality & Environment

Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Minimum Experience: 0-3 years of experience working in engineering related field.
