Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine microbiological testing in accordance with approved specifications, analytical methods, and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct microbial limit testing, bioburden testing, water sampling and testing, and environmental monitoring activities in classified areas.
• Prepare culture media, reagents, and microbiological solutions following approved procedures and good laboratory practices.
• Assist in method validation, method verification, growth promotion testing, and laboratory investigations related to microbiological analysis.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation records in laboratory notebooks, worksheets, logbooks, and electronic systems.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with cGMP requirements, data integrity principles, and company quality standards.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments according to approved procedures.
• Report laboratory deviations, out-of-specification results, and abnormal findings promptly to the supervisor.
• Participate in internal continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control department.
• Collaborate effectively with all cross-functional teams and departments.
• Demonstrate readiness to learn new laboratory techniques and continuously improve technical and professional competencies.
• Perform assigned duties under supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy, reliability, and professionalism.
• Adhere strictly to departmental procedures and company regulations to ensure consistency and compliance in all activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, or a related scientific field.
• 0–1 year of experience in a microbiology laboratory. The pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of microbiological techniques, aseptic practices, and laboratory safety procedures.
• Familiarity with cGMP regulations and documentation practices is an advantage.
• Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
