Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises through general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Job functions:
- Conducting Engineering activities and urgent repair orders and advising on equipment status and operational condition.
- Proper execution and implementation of preventive maintenance orders (PM), corrective maintenance orders (CM) and any predictive maintenance according to the direct supervisor’s plans & priorities.
- Recommending improvements or replacements of equipment.
- Ensuring that all equipment and/or facilities & utilities are maintained, repaired, returned and re-installed to production status and that all safety procedures are followed properly.
- Participating in the development of the Engineering function’s work plan; distributing and following up on work activities, projects, and programs, monitoring workflow and reviewing work methods and procedures.
- Suggesting ideas to boost the effectiveness of the Engineering function.
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Inspecting equipment and systems to identify any issues.
- Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged parts.
- Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure they meet standards.
- Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment.
- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work.
- (Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment, etc.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Sufficient experience and knowledge
- Excellent SAP skills
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and other applicable regulations.
- Excellent computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in electromechanical or technical institute or equivalent.
Diploma 0-2 years of related experience
