We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Director, Total Rewards to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for responsible for planning, designing, implementing and administering a comprehensive total rewards strategy and programs for countries in scope.

Job holder will also research and bring in-depth understanding of external best-practices and innovative trends to apply them to the organization’s total rewards programs and technologies.

Ultimately, the primary objective of this role is to manage all aspects of compensation and HR data analytics, ensuring competitiveness and best-allocation of spend on people resources, by having suitable policies/procedures/practices in place tailored for the organization needs and country specifics, collectively aligned with business strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Strategically assess the effectiveness of current programs in achieving organizational objectives; while identifying best practices and benchmarks; and developing recommendations for modifications to align to HC strategy & business goals.
  • Plan, design, implement and administer comprehensive rewards strategy and programs for sites in scope with business leaders and HC network.

Pay Review, Monitoring, and Improvement

  • Plan and direct the implementation and administration of annual reward cycle with all sites in scope.
  • Ensure people cost/investment is spent in best allocation possible through high-level guidelines and direction.
  • Evaluate the compensation landscape to understand and learn from best practices through benchmarking and industry research and employment trends, track legislation and make recommendations.
  • Develop and integrate new and/or existing rewards programs, policies and procedures to ensure that programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and cost effective.

Policies, Procedures, and Governance

  • Develop internal operating procedures and controls for the administering and managing reward.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent job evaluation process takes place across countries in scope.
  • Partner with HC and leadership on appropriate total reward packages/strategies to recruit and retain talent, specifically in specialized/niche jobs.
  • Support the development of annual budgets and forecasting models by providing market insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with labor law & regulatory changes that might affect reward, directly or indirectly, in countries in scope.

Reporting, Analytics, and Metrics

  • Determine and implement metrics that assess and monitor the effectiveness of ongoing total rewards programs and new initiatives.
  • Communicate actively with Accounting/Finance, HC and other departments to review cost impacts, allocations, and management reporting.
  • Provide management with ad-hoc reports as required, including scenario building and analysis.

Other

  • Act as a project manager for total rewards for acquisitions; includes integration of newly acquired businesses and employees into current pay policies, practices, and benefits.
  • Develop and coordinate communications strategies & activities designed to educate employees about total rewards.
  • Manage relationships and collaborate with vendors and external partners specialized in reward/data services.
  • Prepare annual budget for department and manage related expenditures.
  • Complete reward related ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in compensation management (including working within a global company)
  • Advanced capability in managing & influencing stakeholders
  • Experience of implementing new initiatives, leading processes and people change, in a complex pan-functional organization, balancing strategic and tactical approaches
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
  • Expert in reporting & analytics
  • Strong analytical ability including the skill to dig deep into detail while retaining a broad view perspective
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills

Compensation:

Base Salary: $121,350 to $220,850 annually.  The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
