Description:  
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented North American Legal Intern to join our Injectables team. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers.

The North America Legal Department is looking for a current law student at an ABA-accredited law school. This is a 10-week paid internship open to students who have already matriculated in law school.

This internship will provide experience in the various legal issues affecting Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. and its affiliates’ business and will, among others, include research, drafting documents, and interacting with Hikma’s various teams.

 

Internship will commence in May and end no later than August.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead on various tasks as required from time to time to support Hikma’s business and the North America Legal Department

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be a law student in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
  • Experience in health/life sciences is preferred
  • Students should have excellent academic credentials and communication skills
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. both at the time of hire and for the duration of their internship
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-driven environment.
  • Work with urgency to ensure that inquiries are efficiently managed.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Ability to manage multiple project activities under general supervision.
  • Must be organized and detail/deadline oriented.
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
