We are seeking a Product Manager, Marketing to support the commercial strategy and tactical execution for assigned products within our Specialty and Generic Injectables portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this role will execute brand tactics, manage promotional material development through MLR/PRC review, support KOL and advisory engagement logistics, and serve as a key cross-functional partner to Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, and Compliance. This role supports a broad basket of generic injectable products within the institutional markets, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care, physician office infusion centers, home care, and additional alternate sites of care. This is an execution-focused role for a marketer who can translate brand strategy into compliant, scientifically sound customer-facing materials in a hospital/institutional channel environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Promotional Material Development
    • Draft and manage HCP- and sales-facing materials (detail aids, FAQs, objection handlers, leave-behinds) for assigned products from concept through MLR/PRC approval
    • Maintain claims traceability to PI and approved core claims documents, flagging any language that exceeds label scope or lacks fair balance
    • Manage agency deliverables and timelines to ensure materials are submission-ready ahead of review cycles
  • KOL & Advisory Engagement Support
    • Coordinate logistics for speaker bureau, advisory boards, and Commercial-led advisor outreach in partnership with Medical Affairs governance requirements
    • Execute candidate vetting logistics and scorecard administration for speaker bureau and advisory board programs, per Medical Affairs governance
    • Support MedCompli/Ivalua contracting workflow, including tracking submission status and following up on outstanding compliance documentation
  • Brand Execution & Tactical Planning
    • Execute tactics aligned to the annual brand plan for assigned products, ensuring consistency with brand positioning and approved messaging
    • Support development of the marketing calendar, campaign timelines, and budget tracking, flagging risks to deadlines or spend proactively
    • Assist in coordinating pre-launch and post-launch activities as assigned products move through lifecycle milestones
  • Sales Enablement
    • Develop rep-facing training materials and product detail aids that translate clinical and competitive data into field-ready messaging
    • Partner with Sales on field feedback loops and objection-handling content, incorporating real-world questions into future material updates
  • Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence
    • Monitor competitive landscape for assigned products, summarizing relevant shifts for brand planning
    • Maintain and verify competitive claims footnotes against current competitor labeling on an ongoing basis
    • Support market research and customer segmentation analysis to inform targeting and messaging priorities
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Serve as day-to-day liaison with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance on content development and review cycles, keeping projects moving through each stakeholder’s queue
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure all materials comply with FDA promotional regulations, PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and Hikma policy
    • Maintain fair balance and label consistency across all deliverables, escalating any ambiguous claims to the Director for review

 

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or MBA
    • 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management, Medical Affairs, or a related commercial/clinical role
    • Working knowledge of FDA promotional review requirements and the MLR/PRC process
    • Strong written communication skills; ability to translate clinical/scientific data into clear customer-facing content
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Preferred:
    • PharmD, RPh, or advanced clinical degree
    • Experience in hospital/institutional or injectables markets (anti-infectives a plus)
    • Familiarity with GPO, ADC, and 503B outsourcing dynamics within alternate sites of care
    • Experience supporting speaker bureau or advisory board programs under PhRMA/EFPIA governance standards
    • Digital marketing/CRM proficiency

Travel:

  • Approximately 15–20%, including internal and external meetings

 

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $66,600 to $133,750 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
