The Senior Contract Analyst serves an integral contributor working cross functionally in the Contract Lifecycle Management team with responsibility for negotiating contract terms, drafting offer letters, executing and implementing contract language in the Revenue Management System and fostering partnerships with stakeholders. The Senior Contract Analyst is responsible for the stewardship of information shared between Hikma’s contracting and distribution partners. Timely and accurate communication of this information is essential to Hikma’s compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreements and ensures eligible customers access to contract pricing offered to those contracting partners. This position reports to the Manager, Contract Lifecycle Management.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, redlining and execution of a high volume of contract documents including, but not limited to CDA’s / NDA’s, Contract Agreements (GWSA, MSA and Amendments), Long Term Awards and Offer Letters in accordance with Hikma's Contract Templates.
  • Coordinate all activities related to the contract approval process from contract generation to contract execution for all contracts, which includes distribution of all executed agreements, amendments, and extensions as assigned.
  • Accurately prepare RFP and RFI documents as requested by customers for timely submission by the appropriate deadline. Complete post-RFP award analyses and ensure all documents are provided to the customer as requested.
  • Serve as backup support to Contract Coordinator: (1) initiate and maintain contract pricing and rebates within business systems and (2) Ensure pricing and rebates are updated in systems by deadline and are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with internal and external teams to resolve and respond to inquiries related to agreement terms and requirements, pricing, rebates and eligibility.
  • Prepare contract expiration reports and coordinate input from the Contracts and Pricing teams.
  • Assist Manager in providing support for audit selections.
  • Maintain Contract work instructions, manuals and trackers.
  • Support the strengthening and streamlining of the end-to-end internal contracting workflow with focus on creating efficiencies, expediting timeline and driving contracting best practices.
  • Performs ad hoc analytics and other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective performance of work assignments.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years contract negotiation/sales administration experience, preferably in the generic pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience supporting the Sales and Marketing organization of a generic pharmaceutical company is highly desirable.
  • Ability to negotiate contract terms and translate terms to facilitate implementation into contracting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP & Revenue Management System (i.e., Vistex, Model N, etc.)
  • Knowledge of financial processes including chargebacks, rebates and admin fees.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills.
