In this role you will be responsible for developing, approving and accurately assessing product demand, while recognizing and analyzing trends in the market. The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for examining data gathered through financial forecasts, inventory analysis and market research and translating this information into actionable predictions, which senior management and internal stakeholders will use in marketing, production and strategic decisions. The Senior Marketing Analyst will research existing and developing trends and sales opportunities in the market, present findings and develop a framework on how to capitalize on said trends.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly forecast cycle with collaboration from other departments
  • Review, analyze, update and generate rolling 24 month demand forecast for various supply chain segment(s), supporting both short and long-term demand forecasts (FuturCast)
  • Prepare and distribute monthly variance analyses
  • Assist with the preparation of annual Sales budgets, and quarterly re-forecast updates
  • Communicate demand changes to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor inventory targets (including safety stock levels) with supply chain; provide input in developing inventory strategies to minimize stock outs, backorders, short dating, and excess
  • Coordinate Product Allocation team members to optimize product so that order fulfillment and responsiveness is maximized to customers
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis
  • Collect customer data to improve service, increase sales, and investigate non-compliance issues with customers
  • Assist Sales Representatives and National Account Managers in the daily management of customer requests and product inquiries
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and requests
  • Support Marketing Director(s) and Portfolio Manager(s), as needed
  • Recommend best-in class marketing and pricing practices to be adopted
  • Provide written documentation to support programs and ensure alignment with Standard Operating Procedures

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance or related field
  • Pharmaceutical Forecasting Experience
  • 2-5 years pharmaceutical experience
  • Generic Forecasting
  • Forecast model skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office suite
