You will report to the Associate Vice President, North America Legal and focus on supporting the legal team with analytical, organizational, budgetary, and administrative matters. You will also work closely with the legal team with drug pricing, intellectual property, litigation, and contracting matters as well as provide support with day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
This position provides assistance with various aspects of a busy corporate legal department. It includes providing support for litigation, intellectual property, contract, regulatory, and corporate transactions matters, as well as on-going department operations, corporate governance obligations, and collaborating with other functions within the company. Responsibilities will be varied and may change depending upon the needs of the department. They will involve work requiring paralegal-level analytical skills as well as administrative support functions. Under the supervision of counsel, duties may include items such as the following:

Coordinating and implementing the Company’s obligations to comply with state price transparency and reporting laws;

Coordinating and implementing the Company’s participation in pharmaceutical products stewardship and take-back laws;

Assisting with pricing committee matters;
-
Assisting with contract drafting and review;

Participating in the review of advertising and promotional materials;
-
Participating in document collection and discovery associated with litigation matters;

Assisting with internal investigations;
-
Responding to subpoenas and garnishments;
-
Assisting with departmental training;
-
Managing the Department’s digital and physical records;
-
Coordinating communications with the Company’s insurers;
-
Maintaining intellectual property and other legal databases;
-
Assisting with state licensing and corporate registration matters;
-
Assisting with invoicing and billing matters;
-
Assisting with department operational matters;
-
Assisting with policy and procedure development;
-
Coordinating the Department’s response to service of process; and
-
Providing administrative and scheduling support for the Department’s attorneys.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree. Paralegal certificate preferred.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate legal or compliance department.

Background or familiarity with the legal system and the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong organizational, project-management, and communication skills.
