Description:  
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to join our team. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Compliance operational data, supporting thorough reviews of analytics and findings from monitoring activities, assistance with the development of certain guidance documents and performing ad hoc document reconciliation. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow up with suppliers regarding missing documents. 

Internship will commence in June and end no later than August.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Review analytics and findings from monitoring activities to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Perform ad hoc reviews and reconciliation of documents to maintain data integrity.
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain missing documents and ensure completeness of records.
  • Draft FAQs, Guidance documents, and other Compliance materials.
  • Enter historical data into the Medcompli system for prior years.
  • Assist with entering data for monitoring and auditing forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct monthly exports of supplier data in Ivalua to support ongoing transparency efforts.
  • Assist with filing and organizing Departmental documentation.
  • Assist with other requirements as necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Interest in analytics, data analysis, research and communication of research findings.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data entry and reconciliation.
  • Experience in drafting instructional documents.
  • Work with urgency to ensure that inquiries are efficiently managed.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Ability to manage multiple project activities under general supervision.
  • Must be organized and detail/deadline oriented.
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
