Description:  
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Intern to join our Injectables team. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers.

 

This Intern will support the Inside Sales team in the Chicago office during the TYZAVAN launch by assisting with sales analytics, customer presentations, and field collaboration. This role provides hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical sales while developing data-driven insights to support sales strategy and execution.

 

Internship will commence in May and end no later than August.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Inside Sales team during the TYZAVAN launch through data analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze sales performance, call activity, and customer funnel data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and trackers to support sales strategy and prioritization.
  • Assist in developing territory- and account-level strategies based on sales forecasting and customer insights.
  • Shadow Inside Sales Representatives to learn sales methodologies, customer engagement, and pharmaceutical selling practices.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects related to product launch execution, sales operations, and process improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity across sales systems.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be an Undergraduate currently pursuing degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization); Power BI or CRM experience a plus.
  • Ability to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within sales data.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Professional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team-driven environment.
  • Work with urgency to ensure that inquiries are efficiently managed.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Ability to manage multiple project activities under general supervision.
  • Must be organized and detail/deadline oriented.
  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction, no sponsorship offered at this time.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
