Title:  Associate Manager, Logistic

Description: 

The Associate Manager logistic will be responsible to coordinate all daily basis activities linked to logistics, warehousing and shipping.  supervise strategic projects related to the warehouses and shipping as well.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in HR processes for logistics team to ensure competency.
  • Providing technical guidance and coaching to logistics team.
  • Working closely with logistics team to ensure proper supply is maintained
  • Optimize and coordinate the complete ordering cycle.
  • Optimize the shipping cost inbound and outbound.
  • Follow-up of complaints
  • Follow-up all CAPAs & quality action plan.
  • Defining and monitoring project risk reduction and security policies.
  • Participating in monthly reporting as per guidelines.
  • Update and train logistic team regarding GMP, GDP & existing and new SOPs
  • Participate in cost optimization activities related to logistic activities.
  • Physical count on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Investigate, propose actions to reduce any deviation in inventories, and to optimize its levels and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare analysis for inventory clusters, dead stock, obsolete stock and customer variations.
  • Manage all operation projects related to logistics activities (WMS, Warehouse capacity extension, etc..)
  • Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Monitors KPIs and implements strategies to improve performance and productivity in warehouses and shipping activities.
  • Develop Dashboard to follow the inventory trend evolution, and warehouse occupancy levels.
  • Ensure execution of scrap requests by planning team and coordinate with warehouses and quality team for the scrap execution.
  • Support system issues, drive system optimizations, and liaise with key users, SAP teams.
  • Diverse innovative projects to improve SC KPIs.
  • Projection / Simulation of Inventory.
  • Support SC team in SC performance improvements
     

Technical skills:

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in French and English in speaking and in writing
  • Good SAP & Reporting knowledge.
  • WMS experience.
  • Editing reports and consolidating the results of the performance of logistic operations.
  • Windows office (word, excel, power point)
  • Excellent in MS software.
  • Strong communication skills, able to give direction in cross-functional environment, able to motivate and support colleagues in other functional areas.
  • Committed, entrepreneurial, proactive working attitude (“driver for change”).
  • Fluent in English speaking / writing.
  • Solid in English, written and spoken.

Profil:

  • Education: Bac +5 (Logistic or Industrial Engineer)
  • At least 4 years of working experience in logistics related (Pharmaceutical industry is very recommended)
