JOB PURPOSE

The Hikma Cherry Hill EMAS administrator will be responsible for the monitoring, care and maintenance of the Environmental Monitoring Systems. The candidate will daily evaluate systems for differential pressure, static pressure, temperature, humidity, and particle count alarms and changes to defined control parameters/limits for advanced warning and correction. The EMAS administrator will assist QA/Operations with critical business needs information and support for in- depth investigation, events, and other issues as necessary.  The incumbent will with assistance of Information Technology oversee maintenance of the EMAS system. The incumbent will oversee the daily operation of the system.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Respond to alarms, assure appropriate Management notification and initiate corrective action.
  • Investigate, with assistance of HVAC Critical utilities department, environmental deviations and generate impact reports/deviations for events. Assist Clean Room Services with DCE information and timing of recoveries for impacted areas.
  • Oversee maintenance of the entire system, schedule repairs and calibration, troubleshoot system faults, arrange preventive maintenance and provide training to off shift critical utilities operators for use of EMAS system.
  • Initiate/complete change control activities associated with EMAS system. 
  • Maintain and assure compliance of operational SOPS.
  • Interface with In Process QA for decision making regarding out of tolerance events, Assist maintenance with Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC units, Calibration Department for Calibration of critical and non-critical instruments. Support engineering with new capital improvements that tie to the EMAS system.
  • Interface with vendors such as OEM of EMAS System for issue tracking, software updates, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or state- recognized GED, cGMP Training, Skills in computer administration and controls system.

    Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum:  2 plus year’s technical experience in the HVAC controls. 1 year experience in Pharmaceutical HVAC manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 5 plus year’s technical experience in the HVAC controls. 2+ year’s experience in Pharmaceutical HVAC manufacturing environment

SKILLS

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $30.00 per hour. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
