Title:  Sr. Financial Analyst

Description: 

Applies principles of accounting and finance to analyze and report past and present financial operations and estimates future revenues and expenditures to prepare budget by performing the duties below.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Creation and maintenance of standardized costing and bill of materials.
  • Responsible for managing all operating expense reporting and analysis to ensure integrity and accuracy of manufacturing financial performance.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliation.
  • Management discussion and analysis monthly package.
  • Prepare and upload budgets and forecast data to BPC.
  • Continuous monitoring and feedback for actual expenses vs. budget/forecast.
  • Provide financial support to plant management regarding production issues as well as plant financial and operations performance versus goals, etc.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Provide support to audit reviews.
  • Purchase requisition financial review and analysis.

 

Qualifications

  • B.A. Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar degree.

Experience

  • 5 years Cost Accounting and/or Financial Analyst experience
  • Experience in Operating Expenses and Financial Statements
  • Working knowledge of Excel functionality as well as other office products

  • General accounting and budgeting knowledge
