Title:  Supervisor, Maintenance - 3rd Shift

Description: 

Supervise and control all the shift production related Preventive Maintenance activities and administer the PM Program to ensure compliance with the cGMP guidelines and Cherry Hill Maintenance Strategy. The position will also provide maintenance support to operating production lines and oversee facility critical systems on the assigned shift. Interface, coordinate and follow up on all maintenance activities and ensure all shift maintenance activities are completed per schedule requirements. Other duties include training mechanics on new equipment, vendor interface, special projects, requesting spare parts and developing Preventive Maintenance Programs.

  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Supervision of daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual maintenance work including regular Preventive Maintenance and administer the PM Program to ensure compliance with the cGMP guidelines and the Cherry Hill Maintenance Strategy that primarily occur on the given shift.
  • Direct maintenance troubleshooting in conjunction with reporting staff, including all production related equipment, and off-shift restarting critical systems, i.e., WFI System, 550 ton chiller, sterile filling room HVAC systems.
  • Emergency maintenance work definition with outside contractors and associated equipment/parts
  • Support development of Critical Spare Parts requirements for computerized input and assuring proper storage and on hand balances.
  • Support development of Preventive Maintenance schedules and specific activities required for computerized systems.
  • Plan and execute major equipment overhauls during planned plant shutdowns.
  • Provide input and requirements to Project Engineering for new equipment purchases and equipment upgrades.
  • Conduct departmental training on new production equipment.
  • Must be able to be gowned qualified and maintain gowning status.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum:    BS in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum: 
  • 5 years Supervisory experience in technical manufacturing with degree
  • 10 years Supervisory experience in technical manufacturing without degree

SKILLS

  • Proven track record of leadership effectiveness
  • Knowledgeable in Critical GMPs Systems, Electronics, Mechanical Systems, High speed filling, packaging equipment
  • Must possess strong ability to negotiate and maximize effectiveness of resources and influence others
  • Must be willing to work all shifts based on business needs
  • Computer proficient
