Description:
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Supervisor, Warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing functional leadership on day-to-day operations in Warehousing & Distribution. Spends majority of time focused on coaching and developing team(s). Participates in cross-functional teams. Responsible for coordinating Warehouse shop floor activities including cycle counts, review of inventories, coordinating labor requirements for fork truck drivers and material handlers and supervising the delivery of all raw materials and component inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, lead, and develop staff.
- Remove obstacles and ensure resources are available for the team to ensure coverage and to prevent or respond to issues.
- Support teams to drive improvements in efficiencies, yield, utilization, maintenance optimization, quality of job life, safety, and product quality along with other initiatives that support the growth of the business.
- Coach the team to develop, evaluate, and modify policies, procedures, work instructions, job profiles and other materials relating to the success of the team.
- Support the development, documentation, communication and attainment of KPIs.
- Initiate PRMS reports for generation of daily cycle counts including maintenance of the master cycle count calendar. Issue documents to fork truck drivers for count verification. Resolve any discrepancies between frozen counts and physical counts.
- Review inventories daily and initiate reorder triggers to Purchasing for replenishment of stock.
- Manage overall space requirements within the warehouse and insure sufficient capacity is available for quarantine and approved inventory.
- Manage labor requirements for fork truck and material handlers and insure adequate staffing is available to meet production and delivery schedules of materials and components.
- Insure adequate materials are available for use in the Flammable Storage Building.
- Provide backup for the Warehouse Specialist in her absence. This will include data entry of receipts in POMS and PRMS.
- Participate in the annual shop floor physical inventory.
- Interface daily with Supervisor, Vault / Material, Manager Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning and Operations on issues affecting production schedules and warehouse operations.
- Supervise/oversee the Labeling Issuance Process.
- Supervisor/oversee the Returned Labeling Materials.
- Supervisor/Oversee Label Order Requests and Insert Order Requests.
- Supervisor/oversee the Controlled Labeling Issuance Record for issue.
- Supervise/oversees the insert Preparation Process.
- Communicate changes of daily production activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:

- Minimum Associate Degree required or BS/BA degree preferred in Logistics, Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business or a related degree.
- Other related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Inventory experience is required.
- Proven knowledge working in a high pace warehouse/distribution environment utilizing RF technology supporting manufacturing and finished goods material processes.
- Knowledgeable in computer applications such as: Microsoft Office, SAP, and departmental specific software.
- Working knowledge and demonstrated application of regulated procedures (e.g. Operations or Quality), cGMP's and industry standards/practices.
- Models commitment to quality, “Right First Time” (RFT).
- Ability to foster a close working relationship with team members and management.
- Strong technical/business writing and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, general computer knowledge, knowledge of manufacturing systems, and shop floor control techniques required.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $66,600 to $133,750 annually. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
