Description:

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Vault Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing daily support to the manufacturing operations and various lab personnel while strictly adhering to Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A), cGmp and safety guidelines. The incumbent monitors daily activities to ensure the plant is in compliance with D.E.A. regulations from the time of receipt of raw materials to shipping of finished goods. In addition to being fully accountable for the proper storage and security of controlled substance involved in production activities, the incumbent may act as a delegate for management and take appropriate action when needed and direct or supply guidance to operation and lab personnel to ensure compliance. The incumbent has direct unescorted access to the controlled storage area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides production support to compounding, filling, packaging and shipping departments.
  • Ensures DEA requirements for surveillance and security of controlled substance are provided in the manufacturing environment.
  • Supports sampling activities and return of all controlled substances.
  • Performs quarterly and annual inventories for DEA reporting.
  • Collects production data for ARCOS reporting to the DEA.
  • Maintains a daily inventory of all WIP and Finished Goods held in controlled storage to ensure vault capacities are not exceeded.  Report this information to management to avoid compliance issues and lost production time.
  • Maintains vault batch records of all manufactured lots.
  • Immediately investigates and notifies management of any accountability issues.
  • Process manufacturing rejects, bulk solutions, and lab returns for proper destruction per procedures defined by DEA and Cherry Hill guidelines.
  • Monitor Alcohol activities - storage and handling.

  • This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years Cherry Hill site experience or working with controlled substances in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to read and understand DEA codes and procedures.
  • Good communication and organization skills and a high level of detail are required.
  •  Candidate must have strong math and problem solving skills.
  •  Knowledge of personal computer. Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet computer skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality of security issues and security systems.
  • Prioritize responsibilities and work independently.
  • Qualify as a material handler on both (manual and power) equipment.
  • Perform/execute on-the–job training tasks as required.
  • Work overtime as required to support business needs.
  • Perform other duties as determined by the supervisor and management.
  • Perform clean and clear of work area.
  • Ability to complete required documentation and communicate orally effectively.
  • Ability of read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation.
  • Ability to “work under pressure” in a high stress environment.
  • The work environment for this position involves walking, lifting, bending and sitting.
  • Majority of the time spent in performance of paperwork and coordination of inventories.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20.29 to $31.01 per hour. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
