Title:  2025 Summer Internship - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking talented College Summer Intern for our Columbus, Ohio site. As an Intern you will establish and maintain meaningful projects in a working environment that will enhance your marketability as well as provide value to the organization through continued networking. You will actively contribute to the discovery, development and delivery of our products to our patients and customers.

Internship will commence in May and end no later than early August.

Responsibilities 

Assist on improvement projects (projects could include;

• equipment downtime reduction
• supply chain throughput reduction
• requirements planning
• packaging changeover maps
• visual management enhancements
• production capacity reports
• 5S implementation
• assist on capital equipment projects, verification of product standards to ensure accuracy of capacity planning)

Qualifications

• Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
• Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
• Overall, cumulative GPA must be at least 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) or better.
• Preference will be given to students who are incoming juniors or seniors with an interest in modern continuous improvement approaches (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).

• Major must be related to the field of internship, preferably engineering.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Planning and Organizational skills.
• Proficient usage of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background.
• Must be willing to take a drug test and physical.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
