We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Analyst, IT Datacenter & Cloud to join our team.  In this role, you are responsible to maintain, upgrade and manage the server / storage infrastructure environment. This includes Windows Server Administration, managing VMware and ESXI hosts, NetApp Storage systems and Backup and Storage technologies.  Based upon an organization’s requirements and other IT-related infrastructure, resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. The Analyst, IT Datacenter & Cloud should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality. 
  • Provides technical support for both hardware and software issues for Hikma server infrastructure.
  • Monitors the system daily and responds immediately to security or usability concerns.
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution.
  • Administrate infrastructure systems – Windows Servers, VMware, Azure, NetApp, Backup technologies.
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Interacts with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Maintains the IT System Admin team system, logging all incidents and requests, their acknowledgements and their resolutions and ensuring that all support tickets are handled effectively and expeditiously.
  • Manages backups of all systems ensuring that they run successfully and are tested annually. 
  • Updates systems and servers regularly with approved software updates.
  • Monitors system & server logs, following up on any security or performance issues.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with, colleagues, end users and other professionals (e.g., suppliers and software developers).
  • Identifies and suggests possible improvements in procedures, resources, and technologies. Tests and evaluates new technology.
  • Preform all duties and responsibilities in line with current security & change control procedures.
  • Maintains focus on data security, following compliance requirements, Hikma’s policies, and the environment best practices.
  • Performs other duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Related Majors
  • 1 year of experience in Server / Storage infrastructure related area.
  • Sufficiently IT literate to make effective use of the applications and systems required to be an effective System Administrator Specialist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Datacenter & Cloud experience in fast-paced environment with diverse systems and technologies. Include, Azure, Widows Server 2016/2019, VMWARE, Rubrik, Cisco UCS and NetApp experience.
  •  Windows Server Administration
  • VMware ESXi & vCenter
  • NetApp experience
  • Basic Understanding of network connectivity
  • Rubrik systems or previous experience with backup technology. 
  • Cisco UCS Experience
  • Experience with Azure
