Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Executive Administrator, R&D - Generics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the VP, R&D – Generics (global executive) and the global R&D management team. This role interacts with corporate, government, or community visitors and guests, as well as any vendor engaged for any assistance with onsite/offsite maintenance, activity, or events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onsite attendance and punctuality is required
- Operate professionally, confidentially and accurately in a fast-paced complex environment that involves significant interactions with high level internal and external stakeholders
- Responsibilities include all administrative functions such as calendar management, processing invoices, taking minutes and tracking items due from staff, preparing presentations from source material, modifying business documents.
- Organizes programs, events, meetings, or conferences by arranging facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting, some travel may be required.
- Serves as primary contact for all levels of R&D management and staff
- Independently researches, prioritizes and follows-up on multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the R&D Leadership Team, including those of a sensitive nature and propose an appropriate course of action
Qualifications:

- Basic pharmaceutical/healthcare industry background along with administrative experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years progressively responsible business and technical experience in lieu of degree requirement.
- Demonstrated strong computer skills with proficiency (advanced level) in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with a strong, demonstrated working knowledge of SAP.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in difficult situations.
- Ability to work independently to prioritize and handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects.
- Project management skills, to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead.
- Ability to work with a wide range of co-workers in a diverse community and of a multitude of leadership level.
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful, creative, and committed to getting the job right the first time, with a “can do” attitude.
- Basic financial competency and familiarity with finance terminology is preferred.
- Solid understanding of office technologies (virtual meetings, intranet and internet items, file sharing, etc.).
- Excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to represent the highest executives onsite in a respectful manner.
- Ability to recognize where assistance is needed and be able to provide solutions and assistance discreetly.
