Description:  

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated College Summer Intern for our Software Engineer, IT Manufacturing Ops team at our Columbus, Ohio site. As an Intern, you will earn practical experience as a fully integrated member of our team and participate in meaningful projects that will add value to our organization. In this role, you will partner with global IT team members and the client community to support IT systems which utilize underlying technology solutions in support of business objectives to meet regulatory requirements, improve productivity and enhance processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support of SAP and other platforms to facilitate processes, advise the business on best practices, and communicate business needs.
  • Supports, maintains, and identifies enhancements to SAP ATTP to meet business requirements.
  • system, process support, and project management. 
  • Work and coordinate with project teams of business and IT team members to translate detailed requirements/specifications into new or enhanced application solutions.
  • Creates system documentation, including functional specifications.
  • Supports the integration of ATTP solutions with ECC and other SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, etc.) as well as RFID hardware and other proprietary systems.
  • Provides guidance concerning business implications of application development and enhancements.

  • Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
  • Overall, cumulative GPA must be at least 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) or better.
  • Working toward bachelor’s degree in computer related field or relevant technical experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and apply good problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
  • Organization skills to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to details.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; data analysis experience a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated initiative, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and support the Materials Management team.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction; no sponsorship offered at this time.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of employment, criminal history, and educational background.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
