We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Master Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production plan for their assigned products. This starts when commercial demands are passed to the manufacturing plant and continues until product is shippable to customers. This role is responsible for driving actions throughout the supply chain to meet or exceed Product Service Level and Customer Service Level targets while also managing operational efficiencies, capacities and the inventory investment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Plan Creation, Maintenance and Monitoring
Responsible for end-to-end production planning for assigned products while serving as the Systems and Process Lead for the planning function within the assigned technology. Ensures effective use, accuracy, and continuous improvement of planning systems (e.g., MRP/MPS) and standardized processes to support reliable execution.
Drives cross-functional alignment from demand through shipment to achieve Product Service Level and Customer Service Level targets, while optimizing capacity, inventory, and operational efficiency.
Production Plan Creation, Maintenance and Monitoring
- Manage and optimize the production plan while balancing operational efficiencies, capacity constraints, and inventory strategies.
- Drive Performance to Plan activities and ensure alignment with standardized processes.
- Support and coach Schedulers in facilitating Job Boards and execution routines.
- Ensure planning system accuracy and data integrity to support reliable scheduling outcomes.
Demand Planning Support
- Maintain and improve customer service level performance through proactive planning and system insights.
- Provide scenario modeling and data-driven analysis leveraging planning systems to support decision-making.
- Supply system inputs, data validation, and process leadership for Monthly S&OP activities.
- Assess and recommend scalable planning approaches for new business opportunities.
Process Improvement & Mentoring
- Serve as the functional lead for planning systems training, user support, and capability development.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve system usage, data flows, and process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, simplification, and standardization.
- Mentor and develop team members on both scheduling practices and system/process knowledge.
Inventory and Capacity Management
- Lead capacity planning forums and drive system-based decision-making to meet future demand.
- Serve as escalation point for capacity and scheduling conflicts, leveraging system insights and standardized processes.
- Lead supply chain inputs for Long-Term Forecast and Decade Business Plan efforts.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve slow-moving or obsolete inventory using system tools and reporting.
- Own and optimize MRP and MPS settings, parameters, and outputs for designated products.
- Monitor and act on exception messages (Finished Goods, Bulk, and Purchased Items) while improving root-cause processes.
Project Management / Systems & Process Leadership
- Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on improving planning systems, tools, and end-to-end processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for planning systems (e.g., MRP/MPS), including enhancements, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Lead or represent Supply Chain in high-impact, multi-site, or cross-functional projects.
- Drive standardization, documentation, and adoption of best practices across planning processes.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience required:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional-level planning, operations or supply chain experience
- Or – MBA or Masters in Operations or Supply Chain and 1 year of experience in planning or operations.
- APICS certification is preferred
Competencies required:
- Ability to lead and deliver positive results through teamwork and collaboration with customers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRP/MPS and Master Data in MRP system (preferred SAP)
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office
- Demonstrated planning, organizing, analytical, problem solving, project management and communication skills
