Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Technician, Quality Control, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing workflow processes within the quality control laboratory to meet customer requirements cleaning/maintaining laboratory glassware and supporting the cleaning validation/verification process. Ensures laboratory cleanliness and organization by disposing of waste, adhering to laboratory cleaning schedules/procedures and emptying/washing glassware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Predictable onsite attendance
- Accepts requests from customers and retrieves samples, standards, reagents, and consumables.
- Issues and distributes data references per customer request. When completed, collects the data references for archival.
- Prepares kits of glassware per customer request.
- Supports the laboratory process by performing basic solution preparations.
- Supports daily instrument qualifications (balances, pH meters, etc.) and records associated testing in Labware.
- Ensures laboratory cleanliness and organization by disposing of waste, adhering to laboratory cleaning schedules/procedures, and emptying/consolidating glassware.
- Collects, washes, and redistributes laboratory glassware.
Qualifications:

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Ongoing coursework in a scientific/mathematic field is desirable.
- 1 year + demonstrated experience with MS Office product suite.
- Ability to multitask to meet deadlines and work quickly under short timelines.
- Ability to operate analytical instrumentation, such as balances and pH meters.
- Good computer skills experience with MS Office required.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, basic calculations, rounding concepts, metrics system, and their applications.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills; knowledge of structure and content of the English language (the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar), the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing and through spoken words and sentences, the ability to enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times, talking to others to convey information concisely and effectively, and being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
- Demonstrated teamwork skills – providing information and assistance to supervisors and coworkers in a collaborative manner which encourages trust, mutual respect, and shared purpose among team members.
- Ability to be exact or highly accurate in performing duties.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GMP procedures and processes.
- LIMS, SAP, and Veeva system knowledge is preferred.
