Description:
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and ensuring that materials pulled from inventory that supply other departments are accurate and ensuring that material transfer activities are performed on a timely and efficient manner. Responsible for all material movements within the warehouse operation up to and including shipping, receiving and production support. When providing Vault coverage: provides daily support to the manufacturing operations and various lab personnel while strictly adhering to Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A), cGmp and safety guidelines. The incumbent has direct unescorted access to the controlled storage areas and monitors daily activities to ensure the plant is compliant with D.E.A. regulations from the time of receipt of raw materials to shipping of finished goods. In addition to being fully accountable for the proper storage and security of controlled substance involved in production activities, the incumbent may act as a delegate for management and take appropriate action when needed and direct or supply guidance to operation and lab personnel to ensure compliance. Must be able to work independently and well with others in a fast paced and demanding environment. Must be proficient in the use of all material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Operates powered forklift, moves materials according to work order and material transfer sheets; supplies materials to packaging, shipping and receiving, and other departments.
• Determines proper zoning for outbound shipments. Receives trucking tickets, packing slips, bills of lading, etc. from various carriers and direct carrier to proper bay or location for unloading.
• Perform computerized inquiries for the MRP System; Use of wireless barcoding technology for efficient flow of inventory and distribution of material.
• Loads, unloads, and packs materials on to or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves and conveyor system with material handling equipment.
• Performs general upkeep tasks to provide for the efficient and reliable operation/upkeep of equipment and/or facilities.
• Ensure that warehouse functions are performed in compliance with Company policies, procedures and governmental requirements.
• Provides production-controlled substance support to compounding, filling, packaging and shipping departments.
• Ensures DEA requirements for surveillance and security of controlled substance are provided in the manufacturing environment.
• Supports sampling activities and return of all controlled substances.
• Collects production data for ARCOS reporting to the DEA.
• Immediately investigates and notifies management of any accountability issues.
• Process manufacturing rejects, bulk solutions, and lab returns for proper destruction per procedures defined by DEA and Cherry Hill guidelines.
• Provides support to various departments including R&D and Tech Services when needed.
• The incumbent may perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent and 3 years warehouse/distribution and extensive material handling equipment experience
- Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Must be able to document process issues in a clean, concise manner in accordance with cGmps and SOPs
- Ability to use calculator, have number recognitions skills and good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to examine problem areas and make recommendations for corrective action
- Must be able to comprehend and follow all applicable SOPs
- Able to adhere to a designated production schedule and work overtime as required
- Subject to extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, and pulling reaching, moving and lifting 50- 75 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a DEA controlled area
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: [$14.88-$22.78] The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
