Job-Specific Accountabilities and Duties:

  1. Account Management:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to governmental accounts in the oncology sector to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Understand the specific needs and requirements of key governmental accounts and align company products and services accordingly.
  1. Relationship Building
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within governmental accounts through regular communication, networking, and meetings.
  • Address concerns, understand requirements, and build trust through effective engagement and relationship management.
  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities within key governmental accounts in the oncology sector and develop strategies to expand the product portfolio or increase market share.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and execute sales plans aligned with governmental account strategies.
  1. Product Promotion and Education:
  • Provide comprehensive product information, educational materials, and training sessions to stakeholders within governmental accounts.
  • Keep key stakeholders updated on new products, clinical data, and industry developments through presentations and demonstrations.
  1. Contract Negotiation:
  • Lead negotiations of pricing, terms, and partnership contracts with key governmental accounts in the oncology sector to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Coordinate with legal and finance departments to finalize and execute contracts in compliance with regulations.
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback within the governmental oncology sector to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Utilize market insights to develop strategic initiatives and make informed business decisions.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and supply chain to coordinate activities and support the needs of governmental accounts in the oncology sector.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align account strategies and share best practices.
  1. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Track sales performance, market share, and other key metrics related to governmental oncology accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to provide management with updates on account performance and market trends.
  1. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:
  • Address any customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively, collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Adhere strictly to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all interactions with governmental accounts in the oncology sector.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities for Market Access :

  1. Market Access Strategy:
  • Develop and implement market access strategies specific to the governmental oncology sector to ensure optimal product access and reimbursement.
  • Navigate tender processes effectively to maximize product uptake and market penetration.
  1. Pricing:
  • Engage with payers and governmental agencies to negotiate favorable pricing agreements for oncology products.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and tender specifications.
  1. Health Economics and Outcomes Research:
  • Utilize health economics and outcomes research data to demonstrate the value proposition of oncology products to governmental payers and stakeholders.
  • Support pricing and reimbursement discussions with evidence-based insights.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related field.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, Preferably with a focus on tender business.
  • Experience in the oncology sector is advantageous.
