Title: Key Account Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
To sell all products within an assigned geographical territory, maintain and generate new business and promote products/programs to ensure maximum distribution/market penetration of Hikma products while achieving corporate goals and objectives.
Day- to-day operations
Supervises the day-to-day operations of Commercial section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Identifies marketplace trends and communicates them to the sales team, in order to capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Prepares and utilizes sales tools and product knowledge, to maximize effective customer presentations and identify and meet customer needs.
- Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance, to provide a market-leading service level to customers.
- Develops current and new account relationships, to increases sales in assigned territory and develop new business opportunities.
- Launches new products and programs, in order to achieve quarterly and annual territory sales goals.
- Consults with new and existing customers, to address their product needs and explore marketplace conditions.
- Generates and expands support for the product portfolio through selling techniques, to continuously identify and resolve problems with the accounts while ensuring a long-term relationship.
- Conducts research and builds a strong customer base, in order to find new business opportunities and support sales objectives.
- Monitors industry conditions for changes that impact business, while working with customer operations, to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
- Manages and assists in the resolution of customer issues, in order to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related field.
- Master’s degree in science is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, including at least 1 year in territory/account management.
