Product Specialist:
JOB PURPOSE |
To manage specific products in terms of development, management, and marketing activities across specific commercial areas, to enhance brand image, provide communication across specific commercial areas, and meet market share targets. |
Job Specific Accountabilities |
- Setting and conducting daily visits to doctors, medical professionals, as well as pharmacists to promote and sell Hikma product and hence achieve the overall sales target.
- Serving as product ambassador organizing presentations and sales negotiations for customers and maintaining positive business relationships with clients.
- Securing offer and order follow-up to ensure achieving sales targets, while checking outstanding payments and implementing necessary procedures to resolve issues (when applicable).
- Developing strong relationship with KOLs identifying new market opportunities.
- Staying abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position to secure and expand the business.
- Ensuring that customers’ needs are being met in a timely manner, as well as evaluating reports describing clients’ satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting clients’ objections and issues related to Hikma products while recommending solutions and plans to overcome such incidents in the future.
- Identifying competitor’s activity as well as determining Hikma products that have greater opportunities for generating revenues and developing Marketing plans accordingly.
- Working in close collaboration with marketing manager and Field sales supervisor to determine the product’s future direction and identify new markets for upcoming and existing products.
- Preparing periodic reports with respect to the Sales function activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor.
- Collecting information and compiling regular reports such as: Forecasts, visit reports, market and customer information and competition analysis.
- Collating accurate and prompt basic sales information on a single product and enters them on the CRM system on a daily basis to be revised by the Field Sales Supervisor.
Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
§ 3-5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales
