Title:  Production Manager

Description: 

Role Purpose:

Overseeing all daily plant operations—from production and manufacturing to compliance with policies and procedures. The role also involves leading Manufacturing, Operational Excellence activities by setting strategies for capacity and utilization improvement through process optimization, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organize work in production, packaging, and warehouse facilities to ensure maximum performance.
  • Ensure supervisors are up to date with training requirements in alignment with local and global standards.
  • Manage the production process in collaboration with the Planning Department, advising on schedule improvements to fulfill demand while optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Develop communication channels with other divisions to exchange best practices and ideas that improve overall corporate profitability.
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to achieve optimal results.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies to maintain high quality standards in production, packaging
  • Develop and maintain succession plans for all areas of responsibility to ensure sustainable performance.
  • Drive process improvements and machine productivity enhancements across sites to improve unit cost and employee productivity.
  • Set OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets for sites based on product mix and machine capabilities to ensure regional alignment.
  • Manage harmonization and optimization of product composition and manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and utilization.
  • Direct implementation of value stream mapping for top three products in each site to improve manufacturing cycle time.
  • Oversee Operational Excellence initiatives to standardize plant performance indicators.
  • Manage and control tech-transfer of products between sites to ensure smooth implementation and transition.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Production management sterile and solid dosage form.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and drive operational excellence initiatives
