Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists or performs setup of selected equipment with guidance from leadership to ensure smooth packaging operations
  • Performs packaging line/equipment setup, clean and changeover activities that require the use of hand tools, removal/replacement of machine parts as well as adjustments in order to comply with relevant regulations
  • Conducts line verification to ensure that no foreign product or components remain on the line / equipment / workstation
  • Provides feedback to inform leadership of issues and errors with GMP documentation
  • Performs necessary in process checks including but not limited to package checks, hourly audits to conduct equipment and facility compliance assessments
  • Ensures the operation of the packaging lines to pack products according to instruction, schedules and parameters
  • Communicate with own and other team members to achieve the company goals
  • Initiates, executes or participates in suitable actions where necessary to prevent or improve occurrence of quality issues, wastage or machine downtime
  • Assists in the update and review of packaging procedures, instructions and control forms to meet and improve the company’s standards
  • Raises any machine problems to line leader to notify, follow up and coordinate with the Engineering team on repair and planned maintenance activities
  • Takes necessary action to prevent others of working in an unsafe manner
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset to share and advocate for best practices in order to utilize downtime effectively
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, or any equivalent major
  • 0-5 years of Experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to use computers to perform a variety of data-entry transactions and to retrieve information (procedures; safety, employment, and other information).
  • Ability to perform data entry/maintenance in SAP or equivalent systems.
  • Good English language skills (especially in reading and writing) is required.
  • Pharmaceutical or other regulatory (GMP) experience is preferred.
  • Employee may be required to stand continually throughout the shift.
  • Employee may be required to attend on morning or night shift with long shift is required.
  • Employee may be required to attend weekend.
  • Job involves frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and lifting.
