Title:  Analyst, Quality Control

At the end of the 1980s, we extended ours beyond the Middle East and acquired land in Portugal for the construction of a sterile factory for injectable pharmaceutical products. This was an important turning point for the company, and our first step into a new region. Today, in Portugal, we have more than 1000 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines. 

Hikma intends to recruit an Analyst, Quality Control - Microbiology (m/f) to integrate the Microbiology department, working on-site.

Main Responsibilities:

• Handling Laboratory activities and keeping the integrity of the management system
• Assure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory areas (including benches, incubators, coolers and storage areas)
• Verify environmental monitoring sampling plates from production assuring that all samples and related documents were fulfilled properly by operations and following the approved procedures
• Incubate the environmental monitoring samples
• View and review environmental monitoring sample results
• Prepare material and labels for the environmental monitoring sampling to production 
• Incubation of Media Fill

Profile:

• Degree in Science/Technical, Engineering or related areas
• Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Capability of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Good analytical and organizational skills and should have the ability to think critically
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
