Today, in Portugal, we have more than 1000 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines. 

 

Hikma, intends to recruit an Engineer, Operational Excellence & Process Engineering (m/f) for an on-site work.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact improvement projects in a highly technological and regulated pharmaceutical environment, driving measurable results in efficiency, quality, and operational performance.

You will play a key role in delivering Operational Excellence initiatives and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure sustainable performance improvements across injectable production lines.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Supporting and executing Operational Excellence and process optimization projects
  • Planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities to ensure timely delivery
  • Analyzing production data to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Conducting technical investigations and implementing effective corrective actions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and deploy continuous improvement solutions
  • Monitoring project outcomes to ensure measurable and sustainable operational impact

 

Profile:

 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Pharmaceutical, or similar)
  • Up to 3 years of experience in an industrial environment (pharmaceutical experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and digital systems
  • Organized, proactive, and results-oriented approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
