Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines. 

 

Hikma, intends to recruit an Manager, DEI (m/f) to integrate People Function Department, on-site work.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recommends improvements to departmental policy and directs the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of Human Resources activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost- effective service to customers.

 

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources section to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI roadmap and approach aligned with Hikma’s goals and industry best practices.

 

  • Collaborate with People Partners to integrate diversity and inclusion initiatives into recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes.

 

  • Conduct regular assessments and analyse data to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

 

  • Facilitate training programs, workshops, and discussions to educate employees and promote understanding of diversity and inclusion topics.

 

  • Serve as a resource and advocate for employees, providing guidance on diversity-related matters and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

 

  • Collaborate with external partners, community organizations, and industry groups to enhance Hikma’s DEI efforts and initiatives.

 

  • Organises and supervises the activities to ensure that all work within a specific area of Human Resources activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner (May supervise a small team of subordinates).

 

  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

 

  • Prepares departmental reports of Human Resources timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

 

  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

 

  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration with preferably an MBA.

 

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated DEI role or related field, with a track record of successfully implementing diversity and inclusion programs.

 

  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, as well as familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

 

  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or similar certification is a plus.
