Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines. 

 

Hikma, intends to recruit an Officer, Packaging (m/f) to integrate Packaging - Hikma I Department, on-site work.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Schedules, performs, and reviews all department activities and provides oversight regarding all department activities including inspection, labelling, and packaging.
  • Ensures that operations are performed accurately and in compliance with the company's GMPs and SOPs, conducting training sessions and quality circles
  • Generates and implements plans whilst ensuring that manufacturing schedules are developed and executed with no interruptions in the manufacturing processes and in full compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, EU and FDA regulations, and that no interruptions take place in the processes as a result of, supply materials, and/or interruptions issues
  • Generates and follows up the daily / weekly packaging plans in coordination with other departments, and reports on daily packaging events to management
  • Reviews labelling & packaging master batch records and respective BOM's and related documentation such as change controls

 

Profile:

  • At least 2-4 years of work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment are preferred
  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Technical Science is preferred
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point
  • English Intermediate Level
  • Training and technical coaching
  • Written and oral communication
  • Thorough understanding of the inspection, labelling and packaging processes
  • Confirmed ability to work in a highly structured environment and to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Verified written and oral communication skills & teamwork skills
