Title:  Supervisor, Sterility Assurance

This was an important turning point for the company, and our first step into a new region. Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines. 

Hikma, intends to recruit a Supervisor, Sterility Assurance (m/f) to integrate Quality Unit Department, on-site work.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide directions to SA team using short-term objectives, general policies and management guidance
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and testing specifications. Monitor the testing techniques of EM personnel and ensure the accuracy of all records and documentation is done in the EM lab
• Review /approve EM trend report, deviations, risk assessments
• Evaluate sterile operators aseptic technique behavior. Assist with training of manufacturing personnel in response to adverse environmental data
• Review and approve Media Fill rationales and protocols
• Approve routine Media Fill reports
• Approve calibration/qualification of results and reports of equipments with impact on sterility assurance
   

Profile:

• Degree in microbiology, biotechnology or biological Sciences
• At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical laboratories and namely in Quality is essential
• Specific work experience in Microbiology department will be a plus
• Prior team leader experience is required
• 3 - 5 years’ experience of similar functions and team management
• Good analytical and organizational skills and should have the ability to think critically
• Capability of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team
